Symbiosis International (Deemed University), Pune, has launched the Symbiosis Artificial Intelligence Institute (SAII) — a groundbreaking step toward making artificial intelligence education more inclusive.
Unlike traditional AI programs limited to engineering students, SAII is open to learners from all academic backgrounds — Arts, Commerce, and Science.
🧠 New AI Programs Announced
Two innovative undergraduate programs will be offered from the 2025-26 academic session:
👉 B.Sc. (Artificial Intelligence) – Honours/Honours with Research
Focus:
- Healthcare AI
- Agriculture technology
- Cybersecurity, Data Science
- Sports analytics
- Fintech, Marketing AI, and more
👉 BBA (Artificial Intelligence) – Honours/Honours with Research
Focus:
- AI for business intelligence
- Operational efficiency
- Data-driven decision-making
- Media, HR, Finance AI solutions
📌 Unique Feature: Students can mix majors and minors across both degrees for interdisciplinary learning. Example: A BBA student can minor in AI for healthcare.
